The Weird Noise
Here is a story sent in by 10 year old Bridgett of Toronto Canada:
I was on my way to school when I heard a strange noise coming from my backpack…I went home and I forgot that my mom went on a trip with her bingo group and my dad was at the mall with my older sister shopping for a new phone so I was home alone. It was fun to be home alone I took all the chips and the candy out of the secret storage room in the basement.I forgot all about that noise in my bag and I went to sleep then it got bigger that noise got so big that I had to put on my headphones that were meant for my iPod. When I woke up there was bubble gum every where my dad and sister ran to get help but instead they ran away I looked in side my bag and it was my science fair project gone wrong.What happened was inside my bag there was vinegar we were going to put a little bit of vinegar so it did not explode but since me and my friend Max we wanted to see what will happen so we put it in a big bowl and poured a lot of vinegar in the bowl and it exploded.I got a lot of bubble gum in me hands and made it into a little man and it came to life I got so scared that I called my mom and she came as fast as she could and she said I know what to do and got 700 people with 700 mouths and they all ate the gum could not belive my eyes so I took some pics and brought it in as my science fair project and I got almost got a D but then we should an example and we one first prize and got an A+ because we destroyed all the other projects!!!!!!
